one night at Pullman Paris Roissy CDG

I love first times, and it was my very first time spending the night in an airport hotel, lucky me, in one of the best in Charles de Gaulle! For some reason i would always imagine these hotels to be depressing and filled with lonely businessmen impatient to go back home! But that was before i experienced Hotel Pullman Paris Roissy CDG! 🙂

When Lea from Pullman invited me & my partner to spend the night at Hotel Pullman CDG, before my big dream trip to Tokyo, i was both excited and curious. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a wonderful tour of the Hotel.

Upon entering the lobby, i was immediately impressed by its very chic, warm and beautiful aesthetic. It has the vibe of an open space, something you would experience in Berlin, but not so typical in Paris. This atmosphere made me feel at home.

The rooms at Pullman are so cosy, like an elegant coccoon. Perfect size, nice minimal aesthetic, and comfortable. The hotel philosophy is everywhere. You feel it ! It’s modern and chic. I could enjoy reading or just hang on the large bed. I was especially glad to find gifts waiting for me on the desk.  Always a pleasure! 😀 The view was stunning. I could spend hours looking at the aircrafts by the window. And very important point: the bed was super comfy. I slept like a baby! Jeeezz I hoped i could stay longer.

The hotel is very classy. And i must say that you don’t always get that quality in supposed high class hotels, so I was positively surprised. The staff was super sweet, welcoming and efficient. It made our moment at Pullman even more magic!

Every detail is made to make you enjoy the experience; The conference rooms are filled with fun games & gadgets for a break during your business meetings. The hotel team organises regular events and activities. They really put effort to entertain your journey at Pullman.

Oh and the art! The hotel is very well decorated with various artworks, photos, sculptures. My fave was the Origami Red Bull art by Sipho Mabona, in front of the Restaurant.

Back in the lobby area, i noticed the bar right in the middle and i directly pictured myself sipping a drink and relaxing before dinner. The bar offers a great selection of Parisian brewed beers and super original cocktails. I picked the “pink shower” obviously  😉 So tasty!

The SPA is one big part of the hotel’s appeal. With its very large swimming pool, where you can actually swim. I know…pretty rare!  But yes i had the chance to enjoy a few laps and also chill in the bubbly pool before dinner. So good! The hammam and sauna are really nice, perfectly well-maintained and open until 10pm. There is also a very pleasant fitness room for the most motivated ones. 🙂 Ravishing time spent relaxing before a long travel day the next morning.

The restaurant experience was fantastic. I sat at the bar, facing the chef and his team, preparing the plates. What a lovely experience! I tried the Aioli de Lotte (fish) and the magret de canard and a little purée. Simply delicious! Ananas flambé (pineapple) for dessert. Amazing and delicate like the rest of the dinner. French cuisine at its best! Yummyyyy!

I was really impressed with the Pullman standing. You don’t even feel like you are in the airport. Instead you are living a unique experience. It was so convenient to wake up and access the airport in 5 minutes. I didnt have time to enjoy the breakfast at the hotel, but the wonderful thing is that they had prepared a breakfast box for me so i wouldnt leave with an empty stomach! So sweet and delicious!

Pullman’s philosophy is not about being just another good airport hotel, they want visitors and neighbors to live a unique and memorable experience. Mission fulfilled! Well done Pullman team and thank you so much for having me! 🙂 ❤
